PRE/POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS
PMU Brow Service Pre-Appointment Instructions
-
Refrain from alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood-thinning medications 24-48 hours before your appointment. These can increase bleeding, affecting pigment retention.
-
Avoid using retinol, acids (like glycolic or salicylic acid), or exfoliating products on your brow area for at least one week prior. These products can make your skin more sensitive.
-
Avoid tanning, sunburns, or intense sun exposure on your face for at least two weeks before your appointment, as irritated or damaged skin may not heal properly.
-
Do not wax, tweeze, or thread your brows for at least one week before the appointment. Let us work with your natural brow shape!
-
Avoid chemical peels, Botox, or fillers near the brow area for at least two weeks prior to your appointment.
PMU Brow Service Post-Care Instructions
-
Avoid getting your brows wet for the first 7 days. When cleansing your face, use a damp cloth to gently clean around the brows without directly touching them.
-
Use the ointment provided by your technician sparingly to keep the brows moisturized. Apply a rice grain-sized amount twice daily (morning and night) using clean fingertips or a cotton swab. This helps prevent itching and keeps the area comfortable while healing.
-
Do not pick at scabs or scratch your brows, as this can cause uneven pigment retention or scarring. If you feel itchy, gently pat the area with a clean tissue or apply a thin layer of the ointment.
-
Avoid makeup, skincare products, or sunscreen on the brow area until fully healed. Refrain from activities that cause sweating, like workouts, saunas, or swimming.
-
Protect your brows from direct sun exposure, as UV rays can affect pigment retention and healing. Once healed, always use sunscreen on your brows to prolong their appearance.
