Lash Lifts
Extensions aren’t for everyone-that’s why lash lifts are a spectacular long lasting alternative for anyone who needs a little “pick-me-up” for their eyes!
Why a Lift?
Lash Lifts are an excellent alternative to lash extensions for those looking to enhance their natural lashes with a low-maintenance, customizable, and cost-effective solution. They offer a subtle, yet impactful transformation that complements your natural beauty.
-
Lash lifts enhance your natural lashes without the need for extensions. They work with your existing lashes, giving them a beautiful, naturally curled appearance-making them an ideal choice for those who prefer a subtle enhancement.
-
Lash lifts are incredibly low maintenance compared to lash extensions. Once the lift is done, you can forget about daily curling, mascara, or lash extensions upkeep.
-
The lash lift process is relatively quick, often taking less time than applying lash extensions. There’s also no fills! This makes it a great choice for individuals with busy schedules.
-
Lash lifts can be customized to suit your preferences. You can choose the level of curl you desire, from a subtle lift to a more dramatic curl.
-
Some individuals may be allergic to the adhesive used in lash extensions. Lash lifts don't involve adhesives, reducing the risk of allergic reactions.
-
Lash lifts are comfortable to wear and don't carry the weight or potential discomfort associated with lash extensions.
-
A lash lift can last for several weeks to a couple of months! Providing a sustained enhancement to your natural lashes without the need for touch-ups or fills.
-
When applied and cared for properly, lash extensions shouldn't damage your natural lashes. However, there's a risk of damage if they are not maintained correctly. Lash lifts, on the other hand, carry minimal risk of damaging your natural lashes. LASH PICKERS & FACE SLEEPERS we’re looking at you!
-
Lash lifts are often more budget-friendly than lash extensions, making them an attractive option for those seeking an affordable beauty enhancement.

The longevity of a lash tint can vary from person to person and depends on several factors, including the quality of the tint, your natural lash growth cycle, and how well you maintain your lashes. Typically, a lash tint can last anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. Here are some key factors that can affect how long a lash tint lasts:
Quality of tint: The quality of the lash tint product used by a trained professional can impact its longevity. High-quality tints tend to last longer and provide more vibrant color. At the Venus Room, we use the highest quality products for the most ideal results in the industry.
Natural Lash Growth Cycle: Your natural lash growth cycle plays a significant role in how long the tint lasts. Lashes have a growth phase, a resting phase, and a shedding phase. As your natural lashes shed, the tint will fade gradually.
Lash Care: Proper lash care can help extend the life of a lash tint. Avoiding excessive rubbing or touching of the eyes and using gentle eye makeup removers can help preserve the tint.
Exposure to Water and Oils: Exposure to water, especially hot water, and oil-based products can cause the tint to fade more quickly. Try to minimize exposure to these elements.
Sun Exposure: Sun exposure can also cause the tint to fade more quickly. Wearing sunglasses or avoiding excessive sun exposure can help maintain the tint.
Cleansing Routine: Using gentle cleansers and avoiding harsh rubbing when cleansing your face and eye area can help preserve the lash tint.
Keep in mind that everyone's experience with lash tinting may differ, so the exact duration of your lash tint can vary based on these factors.

Nope! Lash lifts at the Venus Room are performed using gentle perming chemicals that lift and set your lashes in a fixed position. The perming solutions outlast the growth cycle of your natural lashes so we’re never re-lifting over already treated lashes!

If you have a known allergy to lash tint or any of its components, it is not advisable to get a lash tint. Allergic reactions to lash tint can be uncomfortable and potentially harmful. Lash tinting typically involves the use of a dye or tinting solution, and these products may contain ingredients that can trigger allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Common signs of an allergic reaction to lash tint may include redness, itching, swelling, burning, or discomfort in the eye area. In severe cases, it can lead to more serious symptoms, such as hives, difficulty breathing, or anaphylaxis.
To ensure your safety and avoid any adverse reactions, it's essential to communicate your allergy to your lash technician before the appointment. They can help you explore alternative options or recommend a patch test to determine if you are allergic to the specific tint product they use. A patch test involves applying a small amount of the product to a small area of your skin, typically behind the ear or on the inner forearm, to check for any adverse reactions before proceeding with the full treatment.
If you know you have a lash tint allergy, it's generally best to avoid lash tinting altogether and explore alternative ways to enhance your lashes that do not involve the use of products to which you are allergic. Always prioritize your health and safety when considering cosmetic procedures.

Lash lifts, like many cosmetic procedures, are generally considered safe for most pregnant individuals. However, there are a few important considerations to keep in mind if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant:
Consult with Your Healthcare Provider:
Before undergoing any cosmetic procedure during pregnancy, it is essential to consult with your healthcare provider or obstetrician. They can provide personalized advice based on your specific medical history and pregnancy status.
Allergies and Sensitivities: Some individuals may have allergies or sensitivities to the products used in lash lifts, such as the lash lift solution or adhesive. It's essential to inform your lash technician and healthcare provider of any known allergies or sensitivities.
Hormonal Changes: Pregnancy can lead to hormonal changes that affect hair and skin. These changes may impact the effectiveness and results of a lash lift. It's a good idea to discuss this with your lash technician to set realistic expectations.
Comfort and Safety: During pregnancy, some individuals may experience increased sensitivity, particularly around the eye area. Be sure to communicate any discomfort or concerns with your lash technician, and they can adjust the procedure to ensure your comfort and safety.
Positioning: Lash lifts typically require you to lie on your back with your eyes closed for an extended period. Depending on your stage of pregnancy, this positioning may become uncomfortable. Discuss this with your technician to find a comfortable and safe arrangement.
Chemical Exposure: While the chemicals used in lash lifts are generally considered safe when applied correctly, pregnant individuals may be more sensitive to chemical odors, so ensure you’re taking this into consideration.
In summary, lash lifts can be safe for pregnant individuals when performed by a trained and experienced technician and with the approval and guidance of your healthcare provider. Always prioritize your health and comfort during pregnancy, and communicate openly with both your lash technician and healthcare provider to ensure a safe and pleasant experience.
