Brows
We don’t like to brag but…they’re kinda our thing.
We’re serious about Symmetry.
We pride ourselves on referrals, so there’s a good chance someone told you about us. But if you found your way here through any of our social platforms- you know what we’re about!
There’s never an appointment or instance where your brows wont be mapped before service. That means precise results every time!
Why we map…
Brow mapping is a crucial step in the process of shaping and defining eyebrows. It involves measuring and marking key points on the brows to create symmetry and ensure that the brows complement your facial features.
Venus Room’s precise and methodical technique is used to design and shape eyebrows according to an individual's unique facial features and desired aesthetic. It serves as a visual guideline for achieving balanced and symmetrical brows that enhance one's overall appearance
This process typically includes the following steps:
-
Your technician will use a digital caliper to measure key points on the client's face, including the starting point (inner corner), arch, and ending point (outer corner) of each eyebrow. These measurements help ensure that both brows are symmetrical and well-proportioned.
-
Brow mapping takes into account the client's unique facial features, such as the nose bridge and outer corners of the eyes. The technician ensures that the brow shape harmonizes with these features, enhancing facial symmetry.
-
Based on the measurements and facial alignment, the technician marks precise points on the skin with a removable brow pencil or wax pencil. These marks serve as a visual guide for the actual brow shaping process.
-
Your technician will consult with you to discuss the proposed brow shape, address any concerns, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure your satisfaction

Lamination
-
Brow lamination is a popular beauty treatment designed to enhance and reshape the appearance of eyebrows. This technique helps achieve well-defined, groomed, and sleek brows. Here's a detailed explanation of what brow lamination involves:
The Process:
Brow lamination is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure performed by our trained brow technicians. The process typically involves the following steps:
Cleansing: The brow area is cleaned & gently exfoliated to remove any makeup, oils, or debris.
Brow Lifting Solution: A special, gentle, and safe chemical solution is applied to the eyebrow hairs. This solution softens and relaxes the hair structure, making it more malleable.
Brushing and Shaping: The brow hairs are carefully brushed upward into the desired shape and direction. This step helps create a lifted and fuller appearance.
Neutralizing Solution: After the desired brow shape is achieved, a neutralizing solution is applied to set the brow hairs in their new position. This step ensures the brows maintain their shape.
Mapping: Brows are precisely mapped using the Venus Room technique for optimal symmetry.
Waxing: Brows are meticulously waxed around the mapped shape
(Optional Add- On) Tint : Some brow lamination treatments include optional tinting to enhance the color and definition of the brows. The tint is applied after the lamination process.
Keratin strengthening & smoothing: A hydrating and smoothing solution is applied to finish off the brows!

Tint, Stain or Henna?
The choice between tint, stain, or henna for your brows depends on your specific preferences and needs. Each of these options offers different benefits and characteristics. Here's a brief overview of each to help you make an informed decision:
(And if you’re still not sure, we can help during your appointment!)
-
Temporary Color: Brow tint typically provides a temporary color to your brows. It can help darken or enhance the existing color of your brows.
Quick Application: Brow tint is a quick and efficient way to achieve a subtle and natural look. It's ideal for those who want a minimal change.
Customizable: You can choose the intensity and shade of the tint, allowing for a personalized look. Your technician will discuss with you what shade will compliment you best before application.
Lasting Power: Brow tinting can last for several weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and the product used.
-
Longer-Lasting: Brow stains generally provide longer-lasting results compared to tint. They can last for up to two weeks or more.
Natural Appearance: Brow stains offer a natural, subtly enhanced appearance. They are ideal for those who want a low-maintenance look without the need for daily brow makeup.
Customization: Like tints, you can choose the shade and intensity of the stain.
Gradual Fading: Brow stains gradually fade as the color naturally wears off, so there are no harsh lines.
-
Long-Lasting: Henna brows provide a longer-lasting result compared to both tint and stain. They can last up to several weeks, making them a good choice for those who want semi-permanent results.
Rich Color: Henna typically offers a rich and vibrant color, which can be customized to your preference.
Strengthening: Henna contains natural ingredients that can help strengthen and nourish the brow hairs.
Ultimately, your choice depends on the level of commitment you want and the look you desire. If you want a subtle and temporary change, brow tint may be sufficient. If you prefer longer-lasting results with a natural look, consider a brow stain. Henna brows are an excellent choice for those who want a more extended period of semi-permanent enhancement.
For a more permanent solution, see our Permanent Makeup options to see if you’re a candidate for one of our longer lasting brow treatments.
FAQs

If you have sensitive skin, you certainly can still get your eyebrows waxed, but there are some precautions and steps you can take to minimize the risk of irritation or adverse reactions.
We also offer threading if waxing just isnt for you!
Here are some tips to consider:
Communicate Your Sensitivity: Inform the esthetician about your sensitive skin before the waxing procedure. Our wax is specifically formulated for the sensitive skin of the face but we will take extra precautions to minimize discomfort.
Avoid Certain Products: In the days leading up to your appointment, avoid using products that can make your skin more sensitive, such as retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids, or strong exfoliants.
No Sun Exposure: Try to avoid direct sun exposure on the waxed area for at least 24 hours before and after the procedure, as sunburned or tanned skin can be more sensitive.
Hydrate and Exfoliate: Keeping your skin well-hydrated and exfoliated can help reduce the risk of ingrown hairs after waxing. However, be gentle with exfoliation to avoid further irritation.
Follow Aftercare Instructions: After waxing, follow any aftercare instructions provided by the Venus Room. This may include avoiding hot showers, saunas, or strenuous exercise for a day or two to prevent further irritation.
Anti-Inflammatory Products: Consider using anti-inflammatory products, such as aloe vera gel or a mild, fragrance-free moisturizer, on the waxed area to soothe the skin.
Ibuprofen: If you experience redness or discomfort after waxing, you can take an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen to help reduce inflammation.
Consult a Dermatologist: If you have a history of severe skin reactions or allergies, it may be advisable to consult with a dermatologist before getting your eyebrows waxed.
By taking these precautions and communicating your sensitivity to your technician, you can minimize the risk of skin irritation and make your waxing experience more comfortable. However, if you have a history of severe skin reactions or allergies, you may want to explore alternative methods of hair removal, such as threading or tweezing, which may be more suitable for sensitive skin.

Choosing between brow tint, stain, or henna depends on your specific preferences, needs, and lifestyle. Here are some factors to consider when making your decision:
Duration of Results:
Brow Tint: Offers temporary results, lasting a few weeks. Ideal if you want a subtle change or like to experiment with different looks.
Brow Stain: Provides longer-lasting results, typically up to two weeks. Suitable for those who prefer less maintenance.
Henna: Offers the longest-lasting results, often lasting several weeks. Great if you want semi-permanent brows with minimal upkeep.
Desired Look:
Brow Tint: Creates a soft and natural look, subtly enhancing your brows. It's a good choice if you prefer a low-maintenance, everyday appearance.
Brow Stain: Offers a slightly more defined look than a tint but still appears quite natural. It's suitable for those who want their brows to look polished without being overly dramatic.
Henna: Provides a rich and vibrant color that can be customized. Ideal for those who want a bolder, more defined brow look.
Allergies and Sensitivities:
Consider any known allergies or sensitivities you may have. Some individuals may be sensitive to certain tinting or henna products. Discuss with your technician if you suspect you may be allergic to any of these substances.
Professional Recommendation:
Consult with a trained brow artist or technician. They can assess your brows, discuss your goals, and recommend the most suitable option based on your individual features and desires.
Lifestyle and Activity Level:
Consider your daily activities. If you're active, you may prefer a longer-lasting option that can withstand sweat and water.
Occasion:
Think about whether you want the product for everyday use or for special occasions where a bolder look might be desired.
Remember that you can also experiment with different options over time to find the one that best suits your needs. Consulting with a professional can provide valuable insights and help you make an informed decision based on your unique circumstances.

Having an allergy to the ingredients in brow tint, dye or henna could be possible for anyone. Its important to know that if you are allergic to hair dye or its active ingredient (PPD), you are allergic to brow tint.
Henna is a natural plant-based dye that has been used for centuries to color hair, skin, and nails. The primary active compound responsible for the dyeing properties of henna is lawsone (or hennotannic acid).
Stain contains a combination of both PPD and hennotannic acid so if you have an allergy to at least one of these ingredients, you are not a candidate for stain.
How to know if you’re allergic:
Look for Allergic Reaction Symptoms:
Itching or burning sensation
Redness or swelling
Rash or hives
Blisters or peeling
Dryness or flakiness
Watery or itchy eyes (if the product comes into contact with the eye area)
Timing is Key:
Allergic reactions can occur immediately after applying the product or may develop over the course of a day or two. It's essential to monitor your skin for at least 24-48 hours.
Seek Medical Attention:
If you experience any severe symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, severe swelling, or blistering, seek immediate medical attention. These could be signs of a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis), which is a medical emergency.
Avoid Use if You Suspect an Allergy:
If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction or you've had allergic reactions to similar products in the past, it's best to avoid using the brow tint product altogether.
Consult an Allergist or Dermatologist:
If you're unsure, consult with an allergist or dermatologist. They can perform additional tests to determine if you have specific allergies and recommend safe alternatives if necessary.
Remember that allergies can vary from person to person, and it's possible to develop an allergy to a product you've used without issue in the past. Closely monitoring your skin's reaction is a prudent precaution when trying a new cosmetic product like brow tint.

When it comes to getting your brows colored with tint, stain, or henna during pregnancy, it's crucial to exercise caution and prioritize safety. While these cosmetic procedures are generally considered safe for most individuals, including pregnant women, there are important factors to consider:
Consult with Your Healthcare Provider: Always consult with your healthcare provider or obstetrician before undergoing any cosmetic procedures during pregnancy. They can provide personalized guidance based on your specific medical history and pregnancy status.
Allergies and Sensitivities: Some individuals may have allergies or sensitivities to the ingredients used in brow coloring products. It's essential to inform your brow technician and healthcare provider of any known allergies or sensitivities.
Aftercare: Follow any aftercare instructions provided by your brow technician to minimize the risk of irritation or complications. This may include avoiding excessive sun exposure or certain skincare products.
Comfort and Well-Being: Keep your comfort and well-being a priority. If you experience any discomfort or irritation during or after the procedure, be sure to communicate this with your brow technician, and they can take steps to address your concerns.
In summary, while brow coloring with tint is generally considered safe for most pregnant individuals, it's essential to consult with your healthcare provider & inform your technician of any allergies. Your safety and peace of mind should be the top priority during pregnancy, so proceed with caution and make informed decisions with the guidance of your healthcare provider.
